Gen Safe Routes

This targeted social media trafficking prevention campaign aims to combat child sex trafficking along major interstate corridors which represent a primary location for trafficking activities in the United States. The campaign will use targeted social media to fuel a heightened awareness and reporting among workers in transportation, hospitality, and healthcare along these routes. By engaging multiple sectors across the transportation corridors, we can establish a robust safety net that makes these routes hostile to trafficking operations while providing support for potential victims. Transportation hub and healthcare workers are essential allies in preventing trafficking through early identification and intervention. Gen Safe Routes campaign will effectively educate these workers by:

• Creating targeted awareness for specific worker groups in high-traffic locations.
• Partner with law enforcement and community partners to raise awareness of region-specific resources for trafficking victims.
• Measure increased reporting along these traffic corridors.
